after Mach missed his 12th birthday by 1 day (!) i couldn't find a samoyed pup in all of California so i went to the internet.

heard from Marjean in Arkansas... her mom got a great pup from a breeder in their state...

before he came i received his pedigree...

unbelieveable... Macho's grandfather was Iceway's Ice Breaker... and five generations back for the new pup... Iceway's Ice Breaker!!!!

Chance thought chasing Nik was totally fun.....

his "awkward stage" wasn't as goofy as Macho's ears... but Chance did have "ear issues" as well...

kind of a "flange head" thing....

     not to mention the spindly legs!

          graduation day from obedience school had him totally wiped out...!!!

(i won't go into how he thought the "Come" command meant "run to the Blazer and wait" while i     stood there looking like an idiot!....  he wanted to go home..... and so did i  !!!!!!! )

as cute as a puppy he was...

he grew into an awesome young man!!!!

in december 2003 he blew an acl chasing pickups w/ dogs in back...  in my front yard!  (see kompound page for front yard configuration) ...

he is such a dork...!

at least he slammed on the brakes before he hit the iron fence but it was enuff to blow the knee....

the good news is tplo surgery is 99% successful, but the rehab is not fun!

but he really was a good patient...

since that was sooooo much fun...

he blew the other knee in october 2004...!!

here we go again!

same thing!  chasing pickups in the front yard inside the fence!

he might not be the $6,000,000 man but he really is the $6,000 man!!!

(w/ all his pins and plates he would never make it thru airport security!)

he is still the most beautiful one....

and is much happier laying on the office lounge w/out any shaved legs.....
