we're not canceling any

vacations...

but i just couldn't wait...

to escape w/ the pups....

we've arrived...

80 acres... one cottage...

it's raining...

but that isn't a bad thing...

i've having a glass of wine...

the pups are

hiking themselves...

looking forward to going

exploring

when the rain lets up...

Tuesday

A  private and secluded pet friendly vacation

rental just north of the Napa Valley in

beautiful south Lake County

Wednesday

exploring some of the trails...

in the afternoon it rained...

very nice living room

very comfy leather furniture to

read and watch the rain...

out the dining room patio door

is a fabulous deck

and next to the deck is

the bunkhouse...

two more bedrooms and a bath...

my mom and dad

already have dibs on that

on my next visit...!

Thursday

supposed to rain

on and off this afternoon

so we went hiking the

lower trail this morning...

i made the pups take a break

along the way for a

photo opportunity...

rookie and kobe

of course,

beat me back up to

the ranch house...

and then wanted to

go for a ride!!!

no....

i'm making pasta,

drinking wine

and reading this

afternoon!

Friday

hiking in the morning...

this afternoon the sun was out so we

got to read the kindle

outside

w/ a glass of wine...

seriously content...

Saturday

warm sunny day...

in between hikes

we bbq-ed top sirloin

and artichoke...

very relaxing day lounging in the sun...
