after 15 years of vacations in my backyard i finally decided to venture out....

it's just that never before did i find 550 acres w/ only three cottages that lets dogs run free!!!!

and my cottage has my own fenced 5 acres.....!!!!

on the road...

and at last.. our own private gate ..!!!

we are literally on the top of the world......

down below is the little town of Boonville in Mendocino County.....

nothing on my five acres but oak trees.... green wild grass...

it's too gorgeous to even imagine....

the pups have the full run of our five acres.....!

today.... tuesday .... we spent the day exploring... hiking...

eating pasta and drinking wine.......

ok..... another day in paradise!

wednesday....

poured rain this morning....

who cares.....

just moved to the leather chair next to the fireplace inside....

same view....

same book....

same glass of wine.....

still lovin' life large.....

thursday....

woke up to bright blue skies... even ventured out of our five acres.....

found another cottage..... but still haven't seen a live human being.... (oh darn...!)

do i really have to leave????
