Sunday the 16th

Monday the 17th
kinda rainy so the white boys
hiked themselves...
Bogey is practicing being a
"ranch dog"
...sitting in the driveway
guarding the Tahoe and the
back door...
Tuesday the 18th
today Kobe wouldn't go
anywhere w/out his football!
what a goof...!
they have jigsaw puzzles here...
thought i'd give one a try
and now am borderline OCD!
do have to get it done before the folks arrive...
we need the table to eat!
(and Yep... Bogey is still in
Ranch Dog mode...)
Wednesday the 19th
beautiful, sunny,
cool, crisp
morning....
good day for a hike
to the old barn and pond...
the white boys
waiting for us
old girls to catch up...
12 year old Bogey
has walking in slow motion down...
this afternoon
it was sunny enough
to have lunch
out on the patio...
just soooo
beautiful here!
Thursday the 20th
today it rained...
seriously rained...
still raining...
but a perfect day
to put up the
Christmas Ornament Tree
and the first oranment...
never a bad day up here!
Friday the 21st
today was rainy
but not stormy like
yesterday...
a "hike yourselves"
kinda day...
i'm not sure why i call
them back in when
it starts pouring rain...
you'd think they would know to come inside...
but apparently not...
Saturday the 22nd
after last night's
thunder and lightening
storm
(Kobe was NOT
a happy camper!)
this morning is clear
w/ some blue skies...
went for a cruise since it's supposed to rain again
this afternoon...Ü
Sunday the 23rd
the folks arrive from
Bend, Oregon!
sooo wonderful
that we can meet up here!
(Dad's watching the game...
Mom thinks i keep the place
too cold...)
Christmas!!!

i'm keeping them! Ü )
my parents are down @ The Creekside... and will be up here in a few minutes
for champagne brunch...
life could not be better!!!

Wednesday the 26th
...another fabulous day... afternoon @ The Buckeye
then dinner down
@ The Creekside...
(the really cute cottage the folks are staying at...)
and Yes... my mOm brought
a Christmas tree for her cottage too!
Thursday the 27th
...the folks are headed back toward Oregon...
...today was so sunny and warm we read out on
the patio...
i could honestly stay here forever!!!
oh... and check out the Samoyed weather vane the folks got me for Christmas! ...temporary outdoor table center piece!
Saturday the 29th
yesterday was rainy
so read in front of the fire
not a bad thing at all!
today, however,
was sunny and gorgeous!
linguini & clams on
the patio!!!
in fact it was so nice
we were able to
read from the
adirondack chairs
overlooking the
valley...
<sigh> i don't wanna
go home....
Bogey would kill me if she knew
