we have arrived...!!!

...an early morning stroll and sniff... the rain has just arrived...!
...most of us are inside watching football staying dry...
not so much Kenzie... she is still just sitting there wondering why there aren't any squirrels down there...
we have arrived at our favorite place on earth...!
The Buckeye...
...it's Sophie's first time and she is not interested in posing when there are five acres to explore... Ü
what an awesome day...
sitting in front of the fire... the cottage is pretty much all windows...
still raining... made homemade chicken noodle soup...
....soooo relaxing... Ü
Monday the 21st
...really pouring this morning... the kids are soaked...
making homemade chili... looks like it's gonna be a
fire, kindle, wine kind of afternoon... obviously i'm not complaining... Ü
Tuesday the 22nd
...morning stroll
in between the showers...
pups are lovin' it...
back to the cottage for me...!
...perfect afternoon to let the pups hike themselves
and lay on the patio
while i put up the Christmas ornament Tree...
(and Sophie got her own personalized photo ornament...!)
Wednesday the 23rd
...woke to a beautiful sunny day...
perfect for a road trip into Boonville
to buy what we need for Christmas dinner... Ü

it was such a
gorgeous day...
the pups spent the
whole day crusing around and laying out in the sun...
Tuesday the 24th
...in between rain showers the sun comes out...
and the pups hike
themselves...
it probably seems so boring...
but soup, wine, kindle,
jigsaw puzzle w/ a view...
i couldn't be more content...
